In the post about the slim chance of success at Saturday's MasterChef audition, a guy who's visiting from Atlanta commented about cheap eats -- and suggested that we are obsessed with sandwiches.
He's working at Harvard, so I assume people are raving about Darwin's which is a great place to get a sandwich. (And I did mention a deal at All-Star Sandwich Bar yesterday.)
Do we pay excessive attention to sandwiches?
I think pizza might be the obsession...
I think roast beef sandwiches are more popular around here than elsewhere...

LOL!!! I. Am. Cracking. Up. Over Here. Just to clarify I wasn't referring to your site and the obsession with sandwiches. I meant when I asked locals of good eats they kept just telling me of sandwich joints. But thanks for the reference, I feel semi-famous :)
Your sites for cheap eats came in handy yesterday. Off to the north end (I think that's what is called) this evening. Any suggestions out there let me know...
