If you think going to the rehearsal show on Saturday, I took a few pictures last year. It isn't as jam-packed as the main event.
You might find some space in or near "The Oval" if you get there early enough. You really should read all the details and rules before you go. I'll tell you the prime seating opens at 4pm on Saturday and 9am on Sunday.
It will be possible to find somewhere to sit on the Esplanade on Saturday at least...
If you've never stood by the Charles to see the fireworks, you really should do it at least once in your life. Craig Ferguson is back as host (yay), and the musical guest is Toby Keith (hmm).
Both should be there on at the Saturday pre-concert too. No fireworks display unless you imbibe the right ingredients...
Of course, there will be fireworks in various communities around the Commonwealth.
