More is coming, and there's night stuff on the calendar.
Didn't I say "Two's company, free's a crowd"? Franklin Park Zoo had their highest single day attendance yesterday: 16,051. It must have been a friggin' zoo...
Go ahead and enjoy "Free Fun Fridays" this summer, but keep in mind that thousands know about it.
It's great to see that people haven't forgot about Haiti after 6 months. Tonight is a "Remember Haiti" benefit at House of Blues with Bad Rabbits, Will Dailey, and more. Minimum donation is $20, and proceeds go to Partners in Health.
Need to buy someone a gift? There's also an outdoor arts market in Union Square from 3pm to 7pm. The Grownup Noise and One Happy Island are playing, but I don't know when.

SAT 7/10
12:05pm
"Futures at Fenway"
at Fenway Park, 4 Yawkey Way, Boston
$5, $10, and up
Game 1 -- Lowell Spinners vs. Jamestown Jammers (Marlins)
Game 2 -- Salem Sox vs. Potomac Nationals
In previous years, the teams have been the Paw Sox and the Sea Dogs where one was more likely to see players to be joining the team in the near future. With all the injuries, the Olde Towne Team is looking more like Pawtucket everyday...
Still it's a chance to watch some baseball at Fenway Park on the cheap without worrying about falling another half-game in the standings.
When I checked yesterday, $5 and $10 tickets were still available -- this is the one day of the year when you can say that at Fenway.
They're bringing some 'minor league' entertainment between innings, so expect stuff like t-shirt slingshots, kids racing mascots, frisbee-catching dogs, etc. And they say people can play catch on the field after the 2nd game.
It might be a long day, but you've got extra money for beer and peanuts -- and who needs food anyway...
SAT 7/10
1pm to 6pm
Riverfront Music Festival
at Waterfront Park, about 1 Merrimac St, Newburyport (Market Sq/Riverfront)
FREE
Feat: The Lemonheads (5pm), Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers (3:30pm), Sarah Harmer (2pm), The Candles (1pm)
I know. Besides Evan Dando, The Lemonheads aren't the same band; you'll hear some of the old songs and the new stuff ain't bad. I like a few songs by Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers, and it's a pretty darn good line-up to sit by the water and dig some tunes.
SAT 7/10
1pm to 4pm
Micro/Mini Car Day
at Larz Anderson Auto Museum, 15 Newton St, Brookline
$10 / $5 children, seniors, active military
If you like teeny-tiny cars, these babies make a Smart Car feel like a luxury sedan.
Take a gander at miniscule motorcar marvels from the '50s and '60s. And the extra cool part is that you can take rides in some of the cars.
It's like a convention for the micro/mini-car owners, so you might just see the flock of them driving around the area this weekend...
SAT 7/10
6pm
Boston Militia vs. DC Divas
at Dilboy Stadium, 110 Alewife Brook Parkway, Somerville
$10 / $5 seniors / FREE ages 10 & under with adult
Yes, women play tackle football in Somerville. Our home town team is kicking ass, and a win in tonight's Eastern Conference championship will send them to the Finals in Texas.
