As for tonight's video:
I'm not an "insider", but I agree with most of Rob Potylo (fka Robbie Roadsteamer) in this video. I believe Boston has been and can be a special place for music. It would be great if radio stations played local bands.
There's lots of excellent music being made, yet corporate control has sucked out the originality all over the country. Still let's not let cynicism overwhelm us. The music industry is in the process of being turned upside-down, so the future is wide open for quality music.
I like this web show Quiet Desperation. Maybe it isn't for everyone, but I think it's funny. I hope the creative team keeps it going
