Here's the situation.
Saturday cheapness is on the calendar. Hopefully, I'll have a full post shortly after the Bruins win tonight. (Hey, I said the Celtics would beat Cleveland.)
If you get up early enough there's a walking tour of Franklin Park that's part of the Birds & Bards Festival.
There are open studios in the South End and Newton.
Other daytime stuff includes a tribute to Howard Zinn and a concert to help fund an indie documentary (at All Asia Cafe).
Some of the night music choices are on the mellow/rootsy side, but those were the cheap shows I liked. For a couple bucks more than $10, you could catch the Fleetwood Mac tribute (including "Tusk" in its entirety?!) at Lizard Lounge.
Both you and I would prefer if more of this stuff was posted further in advance. The stuff below is stuff that you might want to know about ahead of time.
