MON 5/17, Etc: Free Music at House of Blues

It's half past May. Have you been to a free show at the House of Blues front room yet?

Yes, I've missed Drug Rug and Preacher Jack and a dozen other cool bands. There are still plenty of good music to hear this month, as well as next -- if not longer. The trick is that you need to support it to keep it going.

While you're waiting for a Monday post, think about a trip to Lansdowne St on a game night or otherwise. I think the music will usually start around 9:30pm.

I hate to say it, but you can probably see the updated info on Facebook. I don't love House of Blues, but I encourage the support of local bands.

Let the corporate overlords know that Boston loves local, original music.
