Banditos Misteriosos always put together some fun activities. You definitely need to read what's going on well ahead of time. There's some preparation needed.
It's best to register at the website for organizational purposes (400+ people showed up last year).
The meet-up location will be posted at midnight.
SAT 7/11
1pm to 4pm
Micro/Mini Car Day
at Larz Anderson Auto Museum, 15 Newton St, Brookline
$10
A Mini Cooper is a friggin' minivan compared to these miniscule marvels from the '50s and '60s. The extra cool part is that you can go for rides in some of these cars.
It's like a convention for the micro/mini-car owners, so you might just see the flock of them driving around the area this weekend...
Your fee also includes admission to the museum.
SAT 7/11
2pm to 7pm
Riverfront Music Festival
Feat: Fastball, Eric Hutchinson, Sam Roberts Band, Katie Herzig
at Waterfront Park, about 1 Merrimac St, Newburyport (Market Sq/Riverfront)

Dude, Fastball! "The Way", "Out of My Head", "You're an Ocean"... Sam Roberts puts on a great show. Eric Hutchinson is pretty darn good. Hang by the water in Newburyport.

I assume one of the original Temptations is still in the band...
