I was thinking about bubbly wine and the environment. Whenever I talk to people about sustainable living or read about it, local consumption is always a major point.
We don't need to reach to France, Italy, Spain, or California (although I enjoy the variety of options). Westport Rivers of Southern Mass makes what is apparently a pretty good sparkling wine for about $20.
There's a list of MA retailers that might* carry it, and here's a partial list:
- Bauer Wine (Back Bay)* List from 2007
- Blanchards
- Cambridge Wine & Spirits (Alewife Pkwy)
- Gordons (Waltham)
- Harbor Point Liquors (Dorchester)
- Kappy's
- Martignetti Liquors
- Marty's (Newton)
- Stop & Shop (Quincy & Hingham)
- Trader Joe's (Brookline& Cambridge)
- Whole Foods (Cambridge, near Charles River)
- Wine Cask (Somerville)
- Wine Gallery (Brookline)
- Wollaston Wine & Liquor
