Okay, so this is a Perseid photo from TN instead of MA...
If you look out the window, you know it's not going to prime meteor-watching conditions tonight, but I checked at the weather forecast and Boston "Clear Sky Clock". It doesn't look like there's going to be much chance of seeing the Perseid meteor shower in the next couple days during the peak viewing period.
On the other hand, it's expected to last approximately until MON 8/25. Whenever it clears up the best time to see it see the meteor shower is between midnight (closer to 2am) and dawn, and you should see meteor streak by every couple minutes...
It seems the best viewing situation around here would be somewhere on the shore like a beach -- or a dimly lit wharf... Maybe a park or cemetery... (I can't advise you to trespass though. I can't advise you to trespass...) Basically anywhere dark with a good view of the sky should do the trick.
This should go without saying, but be safe. Seeing a few shooting stars isn't worth any harm to your person or wallet. The best tip I read was that a lawn chair (or that ilk) is far more useful than binoculars:

* You're going to be looking up at the sky for a while, so you should be comfortable.Be sure to give yourself a little time to adjust to hunting the sky for metors!
* Unless you're clairvoyant, you won't know where to point your binoculars.
