Looking up in the sky is one of the cheapest things you can do.
Both Mars and the Moon will be very bright tonight. According to NASA, the Red Planet won't be this visible again for 9 years; and you'll be 16 years older before you the Moon looking this bright again.

The best viewing time should be a little before midnight. Dig out the binoculars, because they will help. If you have a telescope, this would be a good night to move it away your neighbor's bedroom.
