Many of the bands Brett Milano has written about will be playing mini-sets tonight including Muck & the Mires, Robin Lane & The Chartbusters, Twinemen, Nervous Eaters, Willie Alexander & The Boom Boom Band, Lyres, The Neighborhoods, The Gravel Pit, and The Shods. Asa Brebner will lead the house band through an hour of guest singers doing their 'hits' or covers of Boston classics. Besides those listed above, expected guests include: Dennis Brennan, Frank Rowe (Classic Ruins), JJ Rasler (Downbeat 5, etc), John Powhida (Rudds), Andrea Gillis, Lizzie Borden, Ellie Vee & Joe Wizda (The Charms). Who knows what kind of crazy jams will break out.
